Why they matter:

Practice makes perfect: You get comfortable in front of the camera and get to know how we work, making wedding day portraits smooth and stress-free.
-
Real connection: We’ll capture your chemistry in a more relaxed setting, without the timeline of a wedding day.
-
Personalized moments: These photos are perfect for save-the-dates, wedding websites, and printing for your home.
-
Memory making: It’s not just about the pictures—it’s about taking time to be together during a whirlwind season of planning.

What to expect:

Sessions typically last 60–90 minutes and take place at a meaningful or scenic location.
-
I’ll help guide you through poses and prompts that feel natural—no stiff or awkward stuff here.
-
Outfit changes are welcome! We recommend something that goes with the theme of your wedding.
-
You’ll receive a beautifully edited gallery within 2–3 weeks, ready to share and cherish.

Have something special in mind? Let’s talk about how to make your session uniquely yours.

THE WEDDING TIMELINE
Your wedding day goes by in a flash—and we're here to make sure every meaningful moment is captured with care, intention, and artistry. To keep everything running smoothly, here’s what a typical photo + video timeline looks like. We’ll always tailor it to your unique day, but this gives you a great starting point.

Send Off (15-30 minutes)
-
sparkler exit, confetti toss, vintage car getaway...

If your coverage doesn’t extend to the end of the night, we can plan a “faux exit” earlier in the evening with your wedding party or a select group of guests. Same look, less stress.

HOW TO PREP
A little preparation goes a long way in making sure your photos and video feel effortless, authentic, and stunning.
Here’s how to set yourself up for a smooth, stress-free experience:

1. Gather Your Details
Set aside your invitation suite, rings, shoes, jewelry, dress, veil, and any heirlooms. We’ll style and photograph them beautifully during getting ready.
2. Keep Your Getting Ready Space Clean + Well-Lit
Natural light is gold. Choose a room with windows if possible, and keep clutter to a minimum (bags, plastic, cords). It makes a big difference in your photos and footage.
3. Share Your Timeline With Us Early
Once you’ve nailed down the flow of your day (with your planner, coordinator, or on your own), send us your full wedding timeline—ideally a few weeks in advance. Knowing exactly when key moments are happening helps us plan lighting, gear, and transitions, and ensures we don’t miss a beat. If you’re still finalizing things, we’re happy to help you spot gaps or flag anything that might affect photo/video coverage.
4. Prep Your Family + Wedding Party
Let them know when and where portraits will happen. Designate a point person (like a sibling or planner) to help round people up so you don’t have to.
5. Trust the Process
You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do with your hands. We’ll guide you every step of the way. Your only job is to be present and soak it all in.
